About Me

Research Fellow

Dr. Liddell-Quintyn is a Community-Engaged Scholar (CES) with experience leading qualitative research projects that yield data driven solutions. Her research focuses on gun violence with a specific focus on the itersection of domestic violence and firearms among Black American, Caribbean, and immigrant populations. She is intentional about moving beyond traditional approaches that rely on intrapsychic treatment models and instead focuses on collaborating with communities to co-create systemic solutions that target domestic violence among people of color. As a CES, she employs qualitative methodologies  in her research with the goal of informing policy along with prevention and intervention efforts that can save the lives of women in domestic violence relationships.
